Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about how FitRx works, what it costs, and how to get started.

What is FitRx?

FitRx is a telehealth program that pairs you with licensed providers for personalized care — including weight loss, men's health, and everyday needs — available in all 50 states and DC.

Is the eligibility check really free?

Yes. Checking your eligibility and consulting with a licensed provider to see if FitRx is right for you is free. You only pay if you and your provider decide to move forward.

Do I need to leave home?

No. FitRx is telehealth. Consultations and ongoing support happen in the app, and any prescribed medication ships to you.

Will I be prescribed medication?

Only if a licensed provider determines it's clinically appropriate. Medication is never guaranteed or automatic, and many plans include lifestyle guidance too.

How does insurance work for GLP-1s?

FitRx's insurance coordinators help you check your benefits and maximize coverage for brand-name GLP-1s. Coverage depends on your plan, and the check is free.

What are compounded medications?

Some options may involve compounded medications, which are prepared by a compounding pharmacy. Compounded drug products are not FDA-approved. Your provider can explain what's right for you.

Which states is FitRx available in?

FitRx is available in all 50 states and Washington, DC.

How do I contact FitRx?
